Welcome! My name is Jessica Smith-Perry, and I work with people one-on-one and in small groups to support their big decisions, transitions, enhance communications and leadership.

A little background…  My career beyond coaching has been focused on serving health-related, social service and education nonprofits in Canada and the United States, as well as communications and strategic planning consulting with government and for-profit organizations. Through my work as a nonprofit leader, I’ve had my own impactful experiences working with business coaches both one-on-one and on teams. I became a better leader, manager, teammate and employee. I learned to listen and apply systems thinking, especially in demanding situations. (And the learning continues!) This work inspired me to attend the best education program out there for coaching to transition my career and serve others in a transformative way.  In 2014 I became a Certified Executive Coach and received a Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching from Royal Roads University (Victoria, BC). Later that year I received accreditation with International Coach Federation (ICF). Many, many years before that, I received my B.S. in Communication from St. Edward’s University (Austin, TX). I am a past board member of the San Antonio ICF Chapter and hold the PCC designation with ICF.

With more than 15 years of progressive experience in the non-profit sector, I have built a dynamic set of skills that are a strong foundation for coaching work, including communications, team leadership, facilitation, public speaking, community building, volunteer training and management. Developing strong, trusting relationships with women and men across industries, organizational levels, educational backgrounds, and generations is the cornerstone of my work.

As a Coach…   I believe in people. Developing leaders, re-engaging teams, and supporting people to live and lead at their best is at the core of what do. My strengths are in working with clients to tap into their highest potential, vision and strategize in new ways, and develop concrete action plans for significant change. I facilitate workshops for groups on a variety of organizational engagement and values-based topics. I approach this work with confidence, humility and a strong commitment to partner with men and women for transformative change. Every person and every organization is capable of growth, and I know that coaching is the fastest, most effective, and most sustainable vehicle for change.
